Anatomically, the tendon is just that......a tendon. There's nothing around it except fascia and possibly fat buildup. You literally can't get muscular enough for your muscle to eat your tendon...that would make the muscle fucking useless. Go look at weight lifters who are lean and you'll see you can have the largest calves in the world and still have a very defined achilles tendon.
If anything, the bigger your muscles get and the leaner you get, the more defined tendons become simply because by comparison they can't really increase in size whereas now you have this giant mass of muscle next to it.
...or you're a freak of nature...that's always an option too
