Hey /o/ I didn't know my registration expired like 3 months ago because I moved and didn't change adresses so I didn't get the reminder and have been driving it this whole time

Now I am about to register it but the late fees are crazy unless I provide false information on an affidavit of non-operation

Is there any way for them to find out that I would have lied about such a thing?

Or is it just on my honor that I didn't drive it.
