>>13725949It might also be an issue with aftermarket stuff, especially if the wheels were aftermarket and they were using lug nuts with the wrong seats or something.
One more possibility is that they missed the hub and the wheels were tightened down crooked with the center bore sitting on the rim of the hub instead of fitting around it, I once had a tire shop do that to me with a car and was lucky to catch it quickly when the wheel slipped into place and suddenly the lugs were all loose.
