If the frame/chassis are intact with no rust eating at it, then they can really command those prices.

There was a dude selling a 52 Pontiac and wanted $9k for it because even tho it wouldn't run, it still has all the original parts in it and the interior wasn't destroyed to shit.

Nearly all muscle cars were auto from the factory, I highly doubt you have found many if any cars that have had their 4 speed swapped for a manual. The real problem with boomers is they gave their millennial children like you everything they wanted when they started whining as they grew up so now in the real world you think whining will still bring your results/get rewarded.

The ad has been taken down but a few weeks ago there was a 70s challenger listed that was nothing but a rusted frame and 3 quarter panels. It was so rusted that the pillars and roof were nearly gone and he wanted 5k for it. There was nothing salvageable. I wish I had capped it. I was so pissed I just close the tab.

You have no idea how much mopar stuff costs. Finding a 4spd setup doesn't happen. The pedal assemblies are all rare and year specific. I would know. It took me forever to find a trans and I still have to build a pedal box

Fucking boomers and reality TV shows. Bought a rust free 1972 Plymouth Satellite that had the 400 and 727 combo and a roadrunner hood for $3,500 8 years ago. The interior had to be restored and that was a pain in the ass enough, I'd never buy a rolling shell for more than scrap.

I told them the corvette was worth $15k, and I should still crank it up to $20k when I bring it back out in the spring

Still only costs like $25 a month to insure that way, and the speedo doesn't work so mileage is inaccurate

Mine wasn't a real 4 speed but they gave me the book for a 4 speed car (which was 3x that of what it came with, saginaw 3 on the tree). You are allowed to give "comparable examples" so just find the most expensive cars like yours in the US on ebay, craigs, or auction prices and say you won't take anything less.

My car isn't a real L82, but it has an L82 engine which was the only real part of the L82 package.

Wrong vin, different frame that original, but it does have a close ratio ST10 4spd, which on the open market gives i t quite a bonus in value

If something happens, i'm getting a fat fucking check to wipe my tears with and go buy a supra ro something
