I just watched the Mini Moke episode and the entire time Mike wanted to paint the white something different. Edd fought him on that because he knew the white was original and changing it would devalue the thing.
Though Mike did choose to repaint the ugly blue "baller" Land Rover in white. Was a good call because I see rich soccer moms in white Land Rovers all the time. I do question his having the interior trim treated to look like fake carbon fiber. I think carbon looks stupid in anything that isn't clearly a lightweight sports car.
