Hello everyone,
I am back today to discuss what happened this year, why it did not go well and how I plan to resolve these issues in the future.
First off, This season didn't start well, with hitting a barricade whilst testing Aero, and catching on fire at our first race due to a faulty fuel fitting.
The rest of the season was just a shit show to be honest since the wiring harness we used to replace the melted one had a bunch of shorts and other issues.
During most of the season the car would die under negative G and hard left cornering. turns out one of the main battery cable fittings going to the starter was damaged and loose.
I am certain the D16a6 drive train is still strong and kicking but it was not providing enough power advantage when we really needed it, specifically in the races where my suspension was out of alignment due to the crash.
Anyways, the plan for 2016 is to setup a new drive train for the CRX using a B16 lifted from a 2000 civic si with plans to build it within the rules reaching a hopeful 160HP@ the wheels
To do this I am going to need to pickup some more sponsors for the little car. I have been pretty successful in running the car on a budget in the past but If I am going to continue to progress it is going to take more than my day job to fund this.
