I'm not super well versed in cars so you'll have to bear with me. I drive an 02 Oldsmobile Intrigue and lately its been having stalling issues. As I'd approach a red light and stop, my car's ignition would just switch off. I'd have to throw on my hazard light, put it in park, restart it, and try to beat the green. I'm a poor ass college student so I figured I'd just live with it while I could. Anyways it seems to have gotten worse. Today the ignition was actually shutting off as it was rolling down the road without actually being stopped, making me unable to steer. I had to again stop, park, restart, drive. So I'm keeping it parked now and don't really have a choice but to fix it. When I ran the code thing through it a few months ago, it said I had two fuel injectors out (or malfunctioning) and something wrong with my 02 sensor. Would anybody happen to know around how much it might cost to this problem fixed? Also, everywhere I look I see and hear nothing but bad things about Intrigues. Would it be better for me to just dip into my savings and buy a more reliable used car? Thanks in advance.
