The '06 model has an LS2 V8, which is fitting as it is supposed to be a sports truck. The '03-5 models had LM4 V8s, which were basically worthless as performance engines.
The bed is completely worthless for ANYTHING besides luggage. That's it. It's really just a big trunk.
