Hey /o/, this will be my first winter truly having to drive in the snow/ice. I drive a 95 Town Car and I was wondering if I should get a few bags of sand to drop in the trunk for this winter. I live in the Roanoke Valley of VA and I have curves, interstates, and city streets on my commute. Will the weight have a noticeable effect as it does in a mid size truck, or will it make me feel invincible just before I understeer into the ditch?

Side note: What are some good things to keep in the car for the winter, survival wise?
