5) Engine swaps are a lot of fun.

Cons:
1) people saying "why not just get a corvette" as if a car is only it's engine.
2) The longer/more involved a car project the more likely you are to get extremely shithoused while working on it causing headaches when you forget to label wires or finding disassembled parts the next day and have no idea why or how you did that.

Pros: zero.

An S30 chassis cannot handle anything above 375hp or so without major structural reinforcement. Then you've got rust abatement, fuel system upgrades, a whole new brake system, better interior, and at the end of the day it will STILL handle worse than a C5.

Honestly, from a sports car standpoint, a C5 will outperform an S30, hands down.

It is much cheaper, easier, less mentally taxing and smarter to just buy a fucking C5 and be done with it.

This. I don't know why you'd put in such a massive torque monster in a rusting shell of a car like 70s Japanese muscle. You will need to strip the S30 to it's frame and strengthen the entire chassis Akio style if you don't want to end up like the previous Akio.
