1977.5 Porsche 924 (automatic)
Mileage was around 75,000... but there was no hundred-thousands digit, and the odo was broken anyway.
I paid $400 of my dad's money for it, after a bargaining session in which the seller swore that someone else had already offered $600 and would totally be coming back for it.
It had a blown head gasket (which I changed with my dad) and a nonfunctional aftermarket A/C unit. Both front struts were siezed. Every piece of plastic in the interior was broken. Worst car I've ever owned.
But a good first car anyway. Everyone should be forced to spend their first year driving in an underpowered, unreliable, well-balanced RWD car with no nannies or safety features to speak of.
