Thoughts on the 944 and 928?

Tips:
Rather spend more money and get a good, solid car than spend less and go " I can do that later by myself "

Check the air vents behind the doors ( at the B column )
Gearbox syncros can be faulty and front suspension is prone to problems
Other than that sweet sweet cars with transaxle masterrace
I have a 944 S2

Seriously, if you're asking about this, You can't afford to run one of these old Porsches, They require a lot of maintenance and if you can't do it all yourself you're going to end up spending over $1000 a year in parts EASILY

Timing belt and rust aside, think an 85 944 with 55k miles and regular maintenance/care should be pretty safe, regarding problems? Still going to check it, of course
