Last year I wanted to do a knight thing, and somehow ended up spending two weeks weaving chainmail.

I used to have a buddy that worked at oriellys so I got tools for 10% over cost and made out like a bandit. So far I've only needed a few tools that weren't in the average joe socket set. Honda crank pulley holder for one

Also, totes swap a D16z6 head on. Just grab the ECU and head/i/e. I'm going to assume it's a non Si CRX (D16a9 iirc?) so it would be a D15b[1/2] (I'm kind of fond of these lumps of shit, reminds me of Nissans GA16, just the most basic work horse engine. Only with a huge aftermarket and tunability.)

Could you tell me what tools/ provide an idiot proof guide for replacing head gaskets and clutch?

i have my dads old toolkit and there are some flat head screw drivers, one of those spinny roundy wrenches
i might find more but thats all i see on immediate inspection

You'll probably need a new toolkit, 1/2, or 3/4 socket set, 4-22mm, all SAE sizes, 3", 6", and bendable extension. ~$100 for the tools, extra ~$60 for stands, ~$100+ for jack, ~$? (HG's, and clutches for a D15 are cheap.)
The rest would be best googled since I don't own that generation.

I want to find one and get the calipers off of all four corners. They're NSX calipers that don't say NSX and they mount directly to the Integra hubs. I'd need 92-95 Prelude rotors (which I'd have to re-drill to 4x100) to swap that system onto my Integra, which I'd like to do when the front pads are due.

Sadly no, that awesome blonde was not girl with keys in pooper, that girl was dutch-brazilian and was a butter face. But my god that but and boobs. And super chill to hang out with.
Shame she's so far past the deepend, totes crazy as fuck. Blamed me for crashing her car while I wasn't even in the same state. Claimed she let me drive after she picked me up, and I hit black ice. Totaled her car.

The entire time I was OOS helping a kinsman completely rebuild his home, even got around a ton or two of surpluss cold-war survival shit (legit post vietnam ration containers, and barrels. Two car garage full, was about to be chucked out, and I said I'd cart them off.)
Ended up only getting a few because I couldn't haul, they ended up selling them to a looky lou, $20 a cask.

I don't know about CA discs due to them being the same size as the DA and BA brakes, however the BB1 brakes are larger and can be re-drilled.

I figure the Legend calipers, larger rotor and stainless hoses would improve the Integra brakes, although they're excellent to begin with. I don't remember if I need a larger size in wheel, however if I do I hope I can cop a 15" instead of a 16".

I like both. My neighbor has had a manual I30 I've had my eye on for years, but he's letting the fenders and quarters rust away. As far as Nissan goes, it's only good when it's a Datsun, usually.

Oh yeah lol, my younger brother got a 2003 Nissan Frontier (VG33) for free, it came out of Redondo Beach, so no rust and all that. Interior is gross, exterior has LA smog mold on it, but it's a good truck.

Luckily I can see the local Honda dealer from my apartment so that's the plan. Gonna try filling it through the speed sensor hole with a tall funnel and open the normal fill plug up so I know when to stop pouring it in. Got my new Honda friend seeing if he has the transmission mount studs so I can finally mount it up properly. New mount has been stronk but I don't wanna risk it. Then I gotta get a longer bolt for my rear upper arm and throw a nut on the other end with a bunch of Loctite.

Once I do all that, I will be pretty much issue free. Think I'll get my poor Mugen rep wheel fixed then.

With that being said, the EW could be bored to 1.6 and raise comp to make 160 NA.
But really at that point you are in a win/lose situation unless you have the RT4WD block.
Too much torque for the uneven length shafts, which is why a RT4WD EW1 bored .1, EW3 head, EG half width rad, B16a LSD is the GOAT set up for cheap, and can get you more than 150+ hp for under $1000 bucks and under a ton. (Cheapy OBX LSD)
Something I've had plans to build for years now, alongside a .1 overbored EW1 with ITB's

If you really want to make cheap power, just vitara the ZC since you already have it.

Not the B16a itself, just the LSD. It's fits in the Cg tranny that came with the first two ZC's. Not sure if that is similar to a SOHC ZC trans or not, I think they went from cable to hydraulic?

Don't think you will, since it was mainly a SOHC thing. And even then, really I just mean swapping in 75mm pistons, not sure how different the valve reliefs might be from the head though depending on ZC generation.

My car did surprisingly well last winter, the new all seasons did pretty gud and I learned that I did not have ABS after 500 feet of leaving my house. I tried my hand at handbrake skidding and learned that my handbrake requires adjustment. Also my window fell off its track when it was 10 degrees so that was a fun drive home.

Take a pic of your intake manifold. Some of the d15's have the pcv valve screw right into the manifold. Really easy to replace

It is riced, and I'm going to use that as a bargain point, it's the cheapest e30 I found on Ontario, I'm taking my mechanic with me to tell me the damage on dericing it and what it needs for parts, it's etested and cert which is a good sign so far. But e30s are some of my favourite cars next to Honda's and there's a big aftermarket for them, and I'd like to own a well balanced rwd car

Today was a good day. I changed the air filter, cleaned up the engine bay, and changed the oil. I plan on changing out to coolant next. After that I think I am going to prep for paint.

One question though. When I am in reverse and apply the brakes, the brakes moan like crazy. They don't do this when I am driving forward.

Will replacing the brake pads fix this problem? Is it most likely the rear pads?

Yes replacing them will fix the problem. Take of the wheels on the front and back to do a visual examination which one is more worn out. If you know where the noise is coming from, it's that side that needs to be replaced.

I fixed my issue, my fuel pump wasn't messed up, it was igniter. How unlucky for it to go out while I was on E?

My old man offered to buy me a new pump so I said fuck it, and put a new one in it. Changed fuel filter, spark plugs, wires. Before I figured out the igniter was fucked.

So I couldn't sleep. Drove back to work to replace the speed sensor in the POS Jetta. That involved a lot of cursing. Literally a few minute job in the Civic is hours long in the Jetta.

So the guy had 3 motors to sell. The one I was aiming for was still in the car he dropped in price. when a friend and I got there turns out he tried to run it and bent some valves. I ended up buying the second motor already out just been sitting + getting parts from the 3rd for distributor and sensors without having to pull the ones with bent valves.

Hey guys,

I got a 88 accord and its stalls out when its warm out of gear. Cold start is fine. Its a DX and it has 106K miles. I know one of the EGR vacuum switch valves doesn't close when the car is warm after I turn the car off. I'd have to pump the gas out of gear and quickly shift before it dies. I'm trying to rebuild the carb and I found a gasket that had a hole in it on the carb.

Oh hey, I was hoping there'd be a thread like this on this board. Anyway, I've always driven pretty casually, but I've recently come to enjoy driving more as an activity. My current hoopdie is a '00 pontiac grand prix, without going into to much detail, I don't think it's gonna be lasting very much longer. So being in the market for a car soon, I want something reliable, that can be enjoyable to drive, cheap and MT. So I kinda figure a honda should do it.

Anyway, this is what is in my area just in a quick carfax lookup. Are any of these of particular note? How fucked are the prices? If I look outside this site, about what price should I be looking at for say, a mid-late 90's honda with decent mileage?

Also note that Civic CX actually has 143k miles, I checked out the pics and odometer report and it looks like someone entered it in wrong.

I4 do not gain 25hp from simple shit like a catback or headers. And don't believe that a hot air intake is going to get you anything more than 3-5 hp.
