Canadian here. I thought Americans can't import cars if they aren't at least 25 years old.
What could you even do with that car if you can't drive it for the next 8 years? Drive it only on the track or bring it to car shows on a flatbed?

You can. But its a real pain in the ass. The mountain of paperwork you have to do and the overall expense of making it legal isnt really worth it. And besdies that you cant drive it anywhere because some punk kid will fuck with it or it will get stolen.
