Despite being called lift it can also pull but with a relative short stroke (meter and a half at most) so you have to shorten your cable all the time but this thing got me out of more nasty situations than electric which which I also had. Many times you have to pull car sideways, backwards and hi-lift allows all that.
There's also tirfor, you're not limited by stroke but it can't lift and I found that feature very useful.
