Germany: Best NA I6 motors (m3 e46, etc)
Japan: Best turbo I6 motors (supra, gto, 300zx)
Italy: Best NA V6 (alfa busso)

Turbo v6 seems more of new motors, not very informed about them.

V6 is more compact, it takes up more of a square foot print, inline 6 is longer but thinner... generally. there is a difference in the engine balance but its so insignificant, the only real difference is the shapes, and the one which is better is the one which fits in the car better.

Try again. the 3.5 Ecoboost is based off the 3.5 Duratec which itself is based off the 2.5 and 3.0 Duratecs from the early 90's.

These engines are all Ford designs with input from Porsche.

Mazda took the Ford design to produce their own AJ variant.

Aston Martin used the Ford Duratec to produce their line of V12 engines and Nobel used the Duratec to power their supercars.

Your assertion that the Ecoboost V6's are a Mazda engine or based off a Mazda heritage or design is flatly wrong and retarded.

Not necessarily "more" though definitely earlier in the rev range. I had a physicist/IC engine designer explain it to me once. I don't recall all of it, but the gist had to do with balance and inertial forces. There are torque advantages to inline, all else being equal.

They're nice. They never sold that well though for whatever reasons. They're off the same platform as the European 323 counterpart.

The V6 which is a K"something "-ze is a rev power plant. The B6D for 1994+ versions is a pretty nice econo inline4 that makes decent power for its time.

Both cars are fun to drive and there is just enough power to kick the front wheels free. The interior is what you would expect from 90s production vehicle.

Aside from the compact engine bays being a nightmare to do anything in, they're a solid ride.

There are v6s with beautiful exausth notes, for example, the mazda kl-ze, the alfa romeo busso, and I believe there are many others like not every inline 6 sound good.
