A large junkyard decides to lift all their cars onto wheel stands so that it is "easier" to pull parts off of them. What are the negatives and positives of doing this?

Just as bad. Rim lips are very thin so if anything moves even slightly the whole thing sill comes down.

I have witnessed many cars falling on people and that was how one guy suspended his pickup when doing some axle work so he was sat under it when it came down and it folded him in half.
