No, because the airbox has been opened up a bit. I used the typical jetting for the mods done to it. I might try going a bit more lean with the idle mixture screw, and maybe buy a smaller jet if that doesn't work.

In the AF, it varies widely. I have had intel LTs that are sharp as fuck and LtCols who should've been driving a desk in the 3rd subbasement of some nondescript building at Randolph or Langley. Pilots are a crapshoot, too.

Lowered/repostitioned rearsets are a pretty popular mod, as are bar risers. Some suportsports are more comfortable than others. A cbr600 is a lot more comfy then an 848 or a 675.

A lot of supersports have different ergonomics. The general consensus is that the most comfortable supersports you can buy right now are the S1000RR and the GXSR1000. Shop around.

well the GSX-R's come standard with adjustable rearsets which is always good, you can always wack some vortex rearsets on whatever you choose though.

The reality is you'll actually just get used to having to bend your knees and come to like it when you get riding in the way the bikes ergonomics are designed for you to ride.

That's the stock paint job m8. I do hate the matte black because it's a bitch to take care of, however. The side fairings have tons of tiny little white spots here and there from rocks that just drive me crazy. Gonna try to fill them in with some touch-up paint soon, and if that doesn't work I'll probably plasti-dip it black or something since it'd keep the matte finish but probably end up being more durable.

So pick them up. You generally get used to anything you ride. This thing is a chiropractor's wet dream but after about 3 days of putting up with the uncomfortable riding position I got used to it and it doesn't really feel uncomfortable or unnatural anymore.

You could also look into Suzuki. I remember they made a V-twin supersport a while back as well, or a VFR800, which is more of a sport-touring bike, but still gets around and has a V4.

suzuki and honda did, the TL1000R and the RC51.

The RC51 is the better bike (and racier) of the two, the TL1000R has some oddness with a rotary rear dampener on the swingarm pivot too.

Both of them are among the best sounding bikes ever made, they have this low booming exhaust tone that's totally unlike the other big twins from KTM, ducati etc.

Nope. Apparently the PO did a couple of mods to the bike. Bought it with a power commander, carbon fiber rear mudguard, little clip for a phone holder, HID headlight, bar-end guards, and the aftermarket right-side radiator support to keep it from splitting under load.

The stock plastic fan is still there though, just waiting for it to melt so I can justify spending $80 on a metal fan.

Which mic are you using? The stick on or the boom? You really just need to get it super close to your mouth. It also depends on the bike you have. Like on my hyper people find it hard to hear me because of wind and bike noise but if I'm riding my dads gs behind a windshield I'm super loud.

Also I've found that certain sena units are just plain louder than others. My dads sena transmits super fucking loud and my uncles is pretty quiet, its tough to find a volume that works for both of them.

They both have the same exact setup so it doesn't make sense.

General bike maintenance like what? There are TONS of youtube videos for all kinds of bikes and tons of forum posts for the bikes not on video. Some googling will answer basically anything you will ever need to do. Brakes/oil/chain/valvves(on most bikes) are easy peasy if you have ever taken anything apart in your life and can follow directions.

Haynes makes maintenance manuals for a lot of bikes, there are some other brands of manuals out there too but I can't name them off the top of my head as haynes is most popular.

Wet grass is a killer man. I had my bike on grass with the kickstand on the path leading out of my backyard and when I went to ride away I let the clutch out and instantly the rear was spinning, even without throttle. I'm not, they're just terrible helmets compared to their competition in the same price range. I replaced my skyline with a horizon 2, it's quieter, doesn't whistle above 80 km/hr like the skyline does (seriously that fucked me off so bad, you can hear it through earplugs) has more comfortable foam/liner a city mode for the visor and has a proper neck ring that perfectly seals the helmet for cold weather riding.

You're kidding, right ? You should test drive one and you'll see that's a very different bike, if you told me the Rivale i would agree but the dragster...

Anyway, it's an amazing bike to ride.
The new F4 will come in 2017 so you have time, but i'm not sure about the look, she'll lose the 4 exhaust and use something like the panigale.

If you buy the F3, take the 800, better electronic gestion of the ride-by-wire, more torque and power. It's a nice bike but pretty exhausting on the road, it's really made for the track.

I hope you'll get a MV anon, that would be nice !

How are MV dealers with test rides? In my experience euro dealers are more likely to let you ride whatever you want while regular dealers won't let you ride a fucking gsxr. Although my mom works at a dealer and I got to ride the owners R1m, that was pretty dope.

I would only buy a BMW with a factory warranty tbh and then dump it. They're too electronics heavy and have a bad recall history.

Just need to keep saving until I can buy one new in cash.

Yes the screws will move by themselves and go out of sync over time. It's unheard of for it to completely close itself off though.

Let someone do work on your bike other than yourself recently? When was the last time you checked this? May be possible it was near closed prior and worked its way to closed.

Ignore the children instead of getting butthurt. There are some non shitters who do their own work in here.

I disagree. For me it's about the experience of riding more than what I'm riding. The bike itself doesn't have to be special to me ('make my dick tingle') as long as I get to ride something. Sure some bikes are more exciting than others, but I can have fun on just about anything.

I own one. Didn't take long before the seals on the helmet went. If you looked up the review you'll know it isn't a quiet helmet and does have a fucking irritating whistle. Ventilation is alright but that's because it basically just has holes in the helmet.

Oh wait, you're talking about the XR650R bikes...

The 650R bikes have aluminum cylinders with chrome lining on the inside. Good luck finding simply a replacement one if you wear the chrome lining off the original one.

Anything that fits you well and can be found on closeout.

Bell RS1/Star (if it fits your head shape and its in your size), HJC RPHA-10, Scorpion EXO-R2000, and Nolan N86 for starters. All of those are $200-250 in America. OGK/Kabuto if you have a round headshape and can't find a good helmet to fit your shape too.

Check by poking around the forehead with your fingers and temples to see if its the right head shape, aside from pressure points and pulsation points.

I personally would never spend $400-600 on a Arai/Shoei, 2-3 years from now Bell's new liner is going to be on every helmet and likely on closeout by then.

The second weekend I decided to ride my DR650SE to CC81PT's place, it rained like hell going both ways. On the way back, I ended up riding up the pass into driving rain. 300cc. bought used and only had 608km in it.

it has been stored since November 2013. previous owner but stabilizer on it but never replaced the oil.

so tommorow morning ill replace the oil and siphon out the gas and put it back in winter storage.
