So I'm looking to buy an automatic that won't make me want to kill myself when I'm in bumper to bumper traffic. Is a 6.0 gto a good choice?

Who said gas mileage? I want to be comfortable without rowing.
If i wantef gas mileage I'd get s prius.
I've been comuting in my 5 speed mustang and what a fucking grind.
I want a coupe that is comfortable. The gas cost really isn't that big of a factor. It's a 28 mile commute that takes 1.2 hours.

you look at it the wrong way. the mileage is meh anyway, and especially bad in traffic, like 12mpg bad. so why gimp yourself even further? its a pushrod v8 you dont even have to touch the throttle to get going, just release the clutch

Jesus. I actually find it more difficult to drive an auto in stop and go traffic. Having to constantly fight the damn torque converter to stop inching forward is annoying

You can just hold in the brake... or put it in neutral.

A lot of modern cars (particularly Japanese luxury sedans) have manually shiftable automatics.

Also crown vic. 2k gets you a car with a fuckheap of power, a slushbox that won't quit and everyone will get the fuck out of your way.
