If you keep the speed up it's not a problem. See

I doubt it'll be recalled, but the aftermarket will probably come out with a cooling solution eventually.
But you should just buy the last gen corvette anyway. They're bulletproof and unstoppable. Don't buy into the hype that you always have to have the latest version of everything. Are you really going to miss that extra 8 seconds of lap time anyway? No, no you're not.
