Would a 4HP22 transmission from an M10 powered E30 BMW work as either a replacement for my M30 powered E32 BMW or could I use it as parts. Both cars are apparently using the 4HP22.

Apparently the 4HP22 doesn't like being revved in park and neutral and mine died when I had the emission test taken. I'm not quite sure what is broken inside yet, just had metal shavings in my transmission fluids
