Then an Alfa, which was just fantastic on normal roads. It suffered during spirited driving with tighter corners, compared to the RWD BMW I have now. Which I've used on a race track, too, where a generic FWD box just does not compare. In between, I've driven a handful of other FWD cars, which were just A-to-B cars, really. The mid-range Fiat 500 was a hoot, too, though.
A well balanced FWD funbox (previous Megane and all the other french hatches, for example) is an entirely different matter, though.
