What kind of rear suspension do Top Fuel dragsters use?

What is the wheel horsepower of a 2 stroke Trabant? Estimates give 17-19hp, but I'd like real world dyno data.

What's the most economical FWD engine to fit these requirements:

If possible:
>easily converted to propane
>small
>cheap
Looking to make a sort of eco-Mini. Should be plenty fun with 75hp, and get at least 40 mpg with some effort.

Live rear axle, there isn't an IRS strong enough to hold that much power.

Considering they had 26bhp that sounds about right. Nobody wastes time dynoing something with that little amount of hp usually.

I can almost get 40mpg(47UKmpg) with mild hypermiling techniques in my Focus and it has 143hp. You don't have to have so little hp to get decent mpg.

Sounds about right, although I don't think any Trabi will have anything over 15 whp left.

75hp in a Mini is plenty for a DD. If I can get 40mpg with 140 bhp, then I wonder what 75bhp can get me. 60mpg?

I don't usually use "brake cleaner" for brake rotors and shit but why would people apply it to brake rotors when you know the surface you applied it on will wear/wipe/clean off while you drive and brake?

If it's new rotors they usually have a film on them for shipping. You're supposed to use the brake cleaner to remove it so you actually have friction to the disc when you go to stop the first time to bed the pads.

I've been trying to get these god damn nuts off my car for the past hour like a retard without any luck. I don't know what in the fuck the previous owner used to tighten them up, but they just stuck there. My brand new 21mm socket just slides off these nuts, even after applying WD-40 with ratchet and breaker bar. Any recommendations guys, I really want get this clutch slave cylinder replaced already ;_;

buy PB blaster or penetrating oil
let is sit over night after absolutely drenching nut with oil every 30 min to hour
also i've been told every time you spray to hit the nut with a hammer pretty good
idk what that does, maybe helps the oil penetrate?

i'm weak as fuck and i know it, had this problem recently on a stuck exhaust flange bolt, so i get my strong friends/neighbors to help

took two (2) people sitting on the breaker bar with their full weight to break the nut loose after using method above

I think the synchro for 1st may be going.

When I try to shift into 1st while the engine is cold, it grinds. Not in a typical grinding, but almost like it doesn't want to go into gear. Every other gear is fine, and it only happens in 1st.

What causes this?

Would this be a bad purchase?
I currently have two vehicles (04 auto mazda3 and 02 auto Toyota Echo )
I want to sell the mazda 3 for around 2.5k and I want to get a nice fun rwd manual car. Reliability isn't a issue because I have the Echo as a DD.
My other option I am leaning towards is a rx-8 (i know the meme) my uncle has had 3 rx7s and rebuilds them for a hobby (mechanic ) so the akeks seals won't matter.

Get a set of deep 6 point sockets if you don't have one already, in metric and standard.

Just went through this with my dad, all he had was a 21 mm 12 point socket to take his lug nuts off, a shallow socket on an extension at that. He rounded off one of his lug nuts somehow, still managed to get it off.

Turns out a 13/16 standard socket fits just about perfectly, though I guess the book calls for a 21 mm. Pretty much get a fairly comprehensive set of both metric and standard, and fiddle around with them until you find one that fits tight.

Also, 6 point sockets work a hell of a lot better than 12 point when you have to apply a lot of force to something.
