A foreign exchange student has asked me for car advice. She has 10k to spend and is looking at her friends 2011 Mazda 2 with only 15,ooo kilometres on it for $8,ooo with a set of winter tires included.
It's pretty much a brand new car but what other cars should I suggest? I've been thinking of the following:

It seems like the civics and corollas hold their value much better so if she wanted one it would be over 12o,ooo kilometres which she might not like.
