>>13763619You gotta know the times and places to speed. Chicago was similar. If you are in the city, but traffic is just light, there will almost never be cops trying to catch speeders. They will set up in more suburban or rural areas.
It's easy to speed on I-95 around here because it is 4-6 lanes wide and the speed limit is already 65mph so going 80 isn't that fast. 65mph is nice for an urban area too, but you normally just go with the flow of traffic. Sometimes the FL Highway Patrol will set up speed traps further north in Palm Beach County so you gotta be careful speeding around there.
Then there is the FL Turnpike and I-75 out west. 70mph speed limit. I-75 is 5 lanes wide and you can haul. And the Turnpike is a toll road with limited on ramps and exits, so you don't have to worry about slow traffic merging so much.
Big change from Chicago where every interstate is 55mph until you are 100miles outside of the city.
