Eh, it's not that really. It's just that it was supposed to get at least 60mpg city.
I do admit I thrash it when there's space, but otherwise it never gets past 2000rpm.

The skinny pedal controls fuel delivery in a diesel engine. The more you press, the more money goes out the tail pipe.

Still... I do a 45 minute commute everyday, back and forth.
95% of the time I'm stuck crawling in traffic.
I'm thinking it's probably the DPF getting clogged but no warning light so far.
I might drive a good hour on the motorway, on of these days, to see if it gets better.

Not when diesel is almost .30€ cheaper a litre and it's significantly more economical.

So let's see... What is the actual go to for eco driving? I've been told that highest gear possible is the way to go but then told that 2000 rpm is best whatever gear you're in. So what's really best for it?

Citroen C3 diesel hybrid peaks at 70mpg combined, so that's probably the closest, it claims 80mpg highway but doesn't list a city rating.

It's also not available in North America

They're probably taking into account actually using Stop/Start(?).
I do notice I get better mileage if I turn it on, but I'd rather pay more when filling up than ending up replacing that expensive as fuck battery or even the starter.
