The difference is that rotaries and turbos were practically made for each other. It's all a matter of solving the heat issues that come with that combo.

Just yesterday it wasn't confirmed whether it'll be turbo, NA, or hybrid, though they said hybrid is unlikely.

I was hoping for hybrid. It seems the rotary is made to be a part of a hybrid sports car like a mini P1.

I hope it's at least a variable geometry turbo like the new Porsches. That actually might make it worth a shit.

It just seems like this car is going to be a decade too late to the party with all the crazy new fangled shit that goes to make cars super fast these days, unless Mazda goes for broke.
