I don't hunt, never have, but many of my friends did when I was growing up. Bout 18, One night my buddy wanted me to go with him to help tail and train his coon dogs. They had a trail sniffed within 10minutes and were calling tree by 45. We get to the tree where they're calling, buddy shines a light up, big black mass sucks up all the light. "Oh shit that's not a coon!" Crash, bam, growl and there's a juvenile male sitting on my chest biting my thighs. Couldn't breathe, couldn't move, couldn't fight. We didn't have guns cause we were just training the dogs that night. Luckily the bear was young and gave up on its new chew toy fairly quick. I got outta that with 137 stitches and all my baby making parts in tact praise Jesus. Fun part was hiking back to the truck while trying to round up dogs and retain a little bit of blood for the 30 mile ride to the nearest medical facility that was open at 3am.
Second time was 8 years ago and much more drawn out but I only got about 20-some stitches and a broken nose. I deserved it though, didnt store food properly on an autumn outing and decided to try to scare it off like a fucking retard. Bastard went straight for the thighs just like the other one.
