I am getting into hunting this year and it looks like I will doing it on public land. I am in Arkansas so the wildlife management areas seem pretty huge and sweet. Does anybody have any experience with hunting on government soil? What are the unique challenges?

Are moccasins a viable form of /out/ footwear? I mean, people wore them instead of boots for centuries, and I can buy a pair for $10 instead of $100, so...

Ok /out/doorsmen/ladies,

Please support a anon with buying some patches. I had these new ones made and stock is 50 of each.

If there is enough demand I might restock the old patches from last week.

Also dropping prices to $6 a patch maximum for new stock.

Please submit any patches you want to get made and I will make it happen. I might be a pricey but I have less than 3 days turnaround from design to patch demo creation.

Please see store for more details. Please note these are demos on display currently and colour spill and definition is getting adressed.

Mountain Bike

No.608650 ViewReplyReportDelete
I'm pretty new to mountain biking. I had one previously years ago but I never really used it on a trail. I've been jogging trails a lot lately and always see people biking so I gave in and bought this. I feel like I made a decent choice on the bike I picked out (I hope). Any good tips for a beginner? What should I bring with me when biking like tools ect? How often should I tune and maintain it? Good bike rack for two bikes? Anything else I should know?

Drink your water

No.614001 ViewReplyReportDelete
So I was watching Dual Survival and Joe Teti said to drink your water because he claimed that sometimes they find dead people with water left over cause they thought they should ration it. I'm kinda not a big fan of Teti but then on Dirty Rotten Survival a couple of days later Dave Canterbury basically said the same thing. He said that your body makes the best canteen.

Now it didn't appear as though they were saying guzzle a gallon of water but more like if you only have a couple of liters.

I'm just wondering about this since both Joe and Dave were former military. Also the last Dual Survival was pretty good because they pretended they were being chased by enemies and they gave tips on hiding and "leave no trace" for the enemy to follow/find.
