>>614319Yeah, sell. Try and salvage what cash you can for a better bow.
Also, don't buy online from places that aren't dedicated archery suppliers, as a general rule. I suspect you're also an Australian, so I should point out that the above rule applies to Apex Hunting too. In essence, never buy asian-made bows. You also need a pro shop to set up the bow.
Buy from a pro shop. You want american brands. See what they have second hand on consignment. Alternately, buy a new entry level bow (adult, not youth), like a PSE Stinger X for instance.
Get it set up at the pro shop (including draw length/weight, peep sight installed at correct height, centre shot set on arrow rest, D-loop tied on and get walked through the sighting in process).
You will need a sight, arrow rest, peep sight, release aid and maybe a stabiliser, in addition to arrows of correct length and spine. Some/all of this may be included in an RTS package.
A final significant point, please find a club or experienced compound shooter to help guide your form in the correct direction. It'll help a lot in the long run. I improved rapidly with formal coaching myself.
Never dry-fire a bow.
I don't mean to patronise you, but buying an asian bow off ebay tends to suggest unfamiliarity with the whole business, and ultimately you'll waste less money and enjoy yourself more if you know all this stuff.
