>>616830The mine is private property but it's unoccupied for most of the year, only active for a day or two at a time, typically a weekend here and there in the summer months. It's at the end of a pretty nasty logging road, inaccessible without a suitable vehicle. Possible in a RWD truck but I'd recommend a 4x4 of some sort (or a dirt bike / quad). It's obviously pitch black in the mine, there are pits hundreds of feet deep with no guard rails, rotten wooden ladders up and down riser tunnels, occasional waterfalls plunging down the riser tunnels (some of the pipes and valves actually still work, you can crank them on and water will shoot across the mine shafts), and the entire place is littered with old rusty mining equipment / structures, mine tracks and carts, rock tumblrs and grinders. 100 ways to accidentally kill yourself, but a memory that will stay with you for ever.
