Step 2: Shoot RAW, you'll be dealing with noise.
Step 3: Focus on a spot where the car is going to be.
Step 4: turn off autofocus, leaving the lens focused on that spot.
Step 5: Turn on burst/continuous modes, if you can.
Step 6: when the car reaches the area you focused on, shoot. If you have a high-speed continuous mode, machine-gun it as it goes by.
