Hi, I just entered comunication and multimedia in my college and I wanted to know which camera is the best for an entry level user.
I am gonna be producing videos starting next semester so I wanted to be prepared to do so .

ATM I have in mind either a brand new T60S or a used 60d ( at 500 euros body only, I got a 18-55 mm lense lying around )

My budget tops at 750 dollars, what do you think it's the best bang for my buck I can get atm?
Also opened to the used market!

>How to make decent shot at a sportive event?

I tried taking some pictures at this automotive event,
didn't get anything appealing.
I was shooting with a canon eos 350d, my first camera a year ago.

I would like to try my olympus omd em-10 and see if I can get some decent night shot.
The only way I can think of doing this is by getting long exposure shots, or from up close with a decent flash (wich I don't have).

I kinda wanna see if this camera is wasted on me or not, do you have any advice for me to accomplish this task?
If I can't take at least a good picture I'll sell it and go back to my 350d.

How to store photos

Hey /p/ long time no post. Been stuck doing electronics for a while.
Any way, I need to catch up on about two years of photos.
How do you store your photos? How do you sort them?

I sort my photos by camera/year and a folder for each day with a small description. That more or less works but my problem is the photos I have edited.
So far I have a couple of dump folder from photoshop depending on what their intendid use is and tossing them into subfolders. Not very neat.

tl;dr Is there any software that you guys recomend that can sort files with exif into folders?

Video gear thread:

I need the best video recording dslr under 1500 dollars.
I've read several articles, I've read about rolling shutters and global shutters, about ISO, about exposure, about magic lantern, about lens selections but im so confused....

I want to shoot independent low budget films but I must make them exceptional. My film school will be able to give me gear but I still need my own decent camera to not have to rely on it all the time(I will use them for accessories like stabilizers etc..).

I've read some good stuff about the Canon EOS 70D.
What about the Canon EOS 6D?
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4? I have read some good reviews of it but also some buyers who had some problems with it that rendered it unusable.
What about the Sony A77II?
I have read that Sony have less lenses but if im not looking for anything on the fringe will their lenses do? should I even be worried about it?

I might want to do some rapid movement shooting with it so I prefer it to be as capable as possible in that regard, even above overall image and color reproduction qualities.
