I basically only use Rollei 400s, Fomapan 100 classic (depending on which is cheaper), Kodak Gold / Ultramax shit, sometimes Fuji Superia.

depends what im shooting really, been keen to maybe switch back to Delta 400 or giving Foma 100 a try

I use Portra 400 almost exclusively. Ektar and Velvia are used sparingly - usually for landscapes.

Usually shoot with Kodak/Fuji 200. I was poor when it came to film and using it only having an EF system SLR.

Recently picked up an Canon AE1-P, and got a bunch of Fuji 1600, Ilford 400 and a large batch of 400 ISO B/W & 200 ISO AGFA. Should be fun.

For black and white I use tri-x on 35mm and tmax on 120

For colour if I could afford it I would use ektar and pro400H all the time but I normally use superia 200 or 400 unless I'm working on a project. for 120 in colour its only ektar

Ilford is pretty top-tier film IMO. I love hp5+ and fp4+

Foma makes som pretty amazing fiber baryta paper as well. Fomabrom 111 is supposedly pretty god-tier.

What's the cheapest film out there? I'm still learning so I don't care if it's just ISO 50 or if the quality is low. I just want them cheap.

I got Kodak ColorPlus 200 with 36 exposures for 1,79€ per roll.
I probably get my rolls back from developing tomorrow, so I can show my results then.

£3 Develop only at my local Kodak just 4-5 minutes away.

Online services can be pretty cheap, and if that's not an option learn to develop at home. Since the film is £1, it should be cheap to fuck up.

You know, Martin Parr's most famous work was all shot on amateur film like Superia because he liked the colors the film produced. Bill Cunningham shot almost all of his hundreds of NYT pieces on Superia 400. If you think cheap film makes bad pictures, you're probably just an awful photographer.
