also: generic railroad is still mundane, even with all of those pretty colours you have there. Just find something more interesting to photograph, maybe train station? as gay and artsy as it probably sounds for you, look for emotions rather than for nice shapes and colours. For example this theoretical train station can be easily shown as something lonely, lively, crowded, sad, beginning of adventure, whatever - there are a lot of possibilities and lot of ways to show it. Meanwhile your railroad doesn't really contains any strong 'emotions' on its own, it's just part of railroad.
