Man, I hate when that happens. There were times when I thought I nailed it in even looked at the preview on the LCD but didn't zoom in or notice until later.
Feels bad, man.

Nowadays I double check and I always shoot 2-3 extras just in case

I was using a manual Nikkor lens on this one. I turned it the wrong way and I think the photo looks like I was trying to take a picture of the palm tree and a giant condor just photobombed it.

Here's another missed one from the same event.

i like this one. It makes entire photo so 'fake', giving entire new meaning for this cheerful smile and warm colors. Interesting, unique feeling - something like watching fake-happy citizens in dystopian city.
