People cry "resize!" because they have shitty internet so they can't download large files.

Resizing but then saving at JPEG quality 100 so the file size stays the same just means throwing away information with no benefit to /p/

But /p/ are retards and happily download 1MB @ 666x1000, but complain when it's 100KB @ 667x1001.
The '1000px' rule is just fucking retarded and counter productive.

The idea behind this photo is capture humanities interference with nature. You have a lovely forest scene, and then in the middle of everything there is a human made metal structure that somewhat blends in with the rest of the scene.
I want people to think; where do these stairs go? where is this place?

so you want people to be drawn to the stairs, i would've maybe gotten a little closer put a bit more emphasis on it the background is nice but i personally think that the background is distracting from the subject......i think you captured too much nature and not enough of the interference

also i used lightroom 5

I kind of like how the stairs don't stand out myself.....you are looking at the photo, and then notice the stairs. It's kind of like nature is swallowing it up. Then again, it's my own picture so I'd like to defend it a little bit.

But thank you for the constructive criticism, I appreciate it. The way the landscape is, it would have been difficult to capture the background if I got to close to the stairs, but point well taken. I will remember this for next time.
