Contemporary young men are an embarrassment to those before him. He blames everyone and everything for his shortcomings: he blames women, he blames minorities, he blames the government, he blames the economy, he blames religion, he blames his parents, he blames God. It never occurs to him to take responsibility for his own life and care about others: to marry a good women, have children with her, raise a family, and make the world a better place. No, he'd rather be self-indulgent and complacent.
