And damned fucking spanky they are very possessive of their patents. Next outbreak and they're going to be providing lots of vaccine, and governments are gonna find mountains of free money to pay exclusive fees to keep the normies from voting for someone else.
Turns out ... yeah. I believe it. I think there's enough evidence to support the claim, even if it will be Hell's own investigative project to prove specific examples.
To be clear, though ... it's not just Big Pharma that does this sort of shit. Tobacco companies knew in the 1940s that smoking caused cancer, and that their additives increased it. Yet, they are still in business.
Unregulated capitalism is the real cancer here, where people are motivated to concentrate wealth at the top and hoard it, using it to protect the hoard. That shit has got to be dialed back a bit.
