Could it be that we are just as animals? what are animals for us? rather than food... could it be that we are food for entities from a different dimension, maybe they feed on fear, and our sadness, thats why todays world is such a chaos, it never has nor will it know peace...
People say that after death we should not go to the light, because its a trap, to capture your soul and send it back to earth to suffer again for the benefit of other entities, and it makes sense if you think about it, go into the light is what is promoted in mass media, movies, tv shows... thats where it all ends... thats the safe place, your happines your relatives.. and since we are a bunch of conspiracy nuts, why something that mass media pushes should be followed? maybe thats what they are aiming to make people feel comfortable with the light, and service the program of samsara (cycle of death and rebirth), so fuck it, just go up, down, left or right just never into the light, because its a trap...
In buddishm they say that after death you will see a white light, dont go into it as you will reincarnate again, but look over your shoulder for a blue light that will mean the end of samsara... but tbh i would not go into any light, i will go on and find my own.. i suffered enough on this existance, i dont get it why would somebody chose to come here.... i one have had enough.
