Fellow Ohioans, on November 3rd there will be a statewide vote on issues 2 and 3. If you are registered to vote I urge you to go out and do so.

>What is Issue 3?
Issue 3 is an amendment to the Ohio Constitution that would generally legalize marijuana. Sounds good right?
Not necessarily, because there is a sinister second part of the amendment that would ONLY ALLOW 10 MEGAFARMS LISTED IN THE AMENDMENT TO CONTROL PRETTY MUCH ALL COMMERCIAL MARIJUANA IN THE ENTIRE STATE OF OHIO. This includes growing and selling for recreational and medical uses. As you may have suspected, yes, the owners of these megafarms are the ones who financed and pushed for this amendment. THIS WOULD BE A STATE SANCTIONED OLIGOPOLY.

>What is Issue 2
Issue 2 is an amendment to the Ohio Constitution that would allow the Ohio Ballot Board to regulate initiatives. If the board decides an initiative certified for the ballot creates an economic monopoly or special privilege for any nonpublic entity, including individuals, corporations and organizations, then two questions would appear on the ballot.
The first question would ask, "Shall the petitioner, in violation of division (B)(1) of Section 1e of Article II of the Ohio Constitution, be authorized to initiate a constitutional amendment that grants or creates a monopoly, oligopoly, or cartel, specifies or determines a tax rate, or confers a commercial interest, commercial right, or commercial license that is not available to other similarly situated persons?"
The second is the original question that was certified for the ballot.
