Let's face, the two century since Spain lost it colonies has been disastrous for both ex-metropole and ex-colonies, as they have bounced around from dictatorship to dictatorship and civil war to civil war. Sure, they say that they behind that now, but an economic depression or two later, they'll probably be back to their old bullshit. Only under the guidance of an absolute and Catholic Monarch will they find true peace and stability.
2 - AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN EMPIRE
The Balkans are another place filled with people who are ungovernable except through absolutism. Instead of fighting each other over which useless piece of shitland belongs to this useless group of shitheads as opposed to that this useless group of shitheads, they need to focus on their true purpose, as defenders of Europe against the Muslim and African hordes that wish to despoil it.
PS. If it's re-established, it should also include the other Balkan nations: Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia (and Kosovo if you count that as a nation).
