What would you say was the most important battle of WWII?
I think El Alamein
>Commonwealth pushed back to Egypt
>If Germany wins, Britain are out
>Rommel pushes through the Near/Middle East and up into Russia
>Soviet Forces struggling at Stalingrad get pincered
>Instead Britain and the Commonwealth win
>It is in fact the Germans who get pincered, with the British coming from the West, and Americans from the East
I'm not even biased despite my flag. I acknowledge the importance of Stalingrad and Midway, but this was the one which really turned the tide of the war.
