My grandmother recently died and she left us a lot of Gründerzeit ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gr%C3%BCnderzeit ) furniture that she and my grandfather bought used for cheap in the 50s.
My father (slightly autistic, academic) wants to throw them away. I'm not the person to argue, since I dont have a job yet and I dont work for the family upkeep.
Should I convince him to keep the furniture (he really doesnt want to), or away with the old stuff?
Is there a possibility to sell that stuff to people who want some tidbits of retro german culture, before it goes extinct?
Asking on /pol/ because I feel like this is a political question.
