Guys, can we try to fix race relations? It's seriously gotten retarded.

Blacks - own up to your crime statistics. Take the leaders of your community to task, take your family to task, don't let crime be an option, don't let 'do what I had to survive' be an excuse.

Whites - own up to white privilege. As leaders of the community, lead fairly. Welcome minorities in, by merit, not race.

Everyone - white privilege is a privilege; it's nice and it's an advantage. But like all privileges, it was earned, not by the individual, but by the ancestors who toiled behind them. As Andrew Jackson said, had Western (and Far Eastern) privilege not exist, you would have none of the civilization nor technology we are enjoying (and reading this post) today. We owe this to white privilege.

Can we do this? Can we be mature; can we be civilized?
