Incorrect. You say this in spite of the fact that the vast majority of America, the fucking SEAT of that degeneracy, is very religious.
The degeneracy killing the west is the tyranny of the majority coupled with one of the most easily manipulated majorities in history. Whoever controls the tube controls the majority, and therefore the politics. The people who control the tube have a reason to want generational resets of wealth. They have a reason to want the youth to party and fuck without a care in the world.
The phrase "money is the root of all evil," isn't a running joke. Money is the root of all aspects of our society, the good and the ill.

Also, I'd argue that the vast majority of the hedonistic youths are not "atheists" in the same sense as a fucking physicist or some such. A physicist is an atheist because of how he looks at the world, not because he's enamored with the idea that he will cease to exist one day. The modern hedonist embraces atheism because, if there is a God, there's a good chance that he's going straight to fucking hell.

I'd argue that America is far, far less degenerate than other western countries. You still have gun laws, personal liberty is hugely important there and any time that liberty might be infringed it actually sparks debate. Your media is not censored anywhere near as much as it is in Europe and Australia. Your government treats citizens like adults and the 'nanny state' that characterizes the EU and Australia is basically non-existent in the US

From an outsiders perspective America has it's head screwed on pretty straight. Yeah you've got Hollywood liberals who have voices much louder than the popularity of their opinions, but overall it's not like Swedenstan where you'll get jailed or fined for insulting immigrants on facebook
