Uncle got into an argument with his ex-wife once. He was making a sandwich in the kitchen later when she came from behind him with a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the back. He instinctively turned quickly and swung his arm around in self defense and elbowed his wife in the face, leaving a bruise on her cheek.
Now of course this was attempted murder, but did the police care about that? No. He went to jail that night with a knife wound in his back while his psycho wife was sleeping in his nice 4,000 square foot home.
Fuck the "justice" system.
