It's getting cold here. But it's always fucking cold. Even in Summer it never gets above 25 degrees c. (about 70 fahrenheit) and that's unusual maybe a day or two. Winter lasts months. It's different weather down south in London for example. Or Bristol.

It's nice. I love Winter. Super comfy.

I don't know Texas. US is so big. I've been to Montana to visit a friend and his family. Loved it there. Our kids played together and our wives left us alone to go to the bar and shoot guns.

We've invited them to come and visit in the Summer. I can't afford to go there for a few years as I'm saving up to visit family in NZ in January. We don't really have trees as it's high ground; above the tree line.

Barnard Castle. In County Durham. It's between the Lake District, and Yorkshire Dales. Just a small town, but I like it. It's miles from anywhere. The nearest town is Darlington - about 15 miles. Newcastle is about an hour's drive away. Peak District is beautiful.
The scenery is similar here.
