A gun gives EVERYONE no matter their skin color, religion, gender, size, and even a liberal, the ability to defend themselves. You may not agree with me still, saying that a gun didn't matter in x,y,z situation because Sally ended up being raped,murdered,robbed,had her children killed. Sure, no weapon is perfect, there never was nor will be. So what would you say to someone who is alive now because they had a gun? That they should've died, been raped, or been beaten instead of not becoming a victim thanks to their firearm?
tldr; For all the freedoms you foreigners say you have, it's fucking hilarious to watch you elect a government that denies you a simple tool that gives you the means to defend your life. To elect a government that may give you free healthcare for long term life, but deny you a simple tool to protect yourself from immediate harm from others.
