As a new-emerging Catholic why should the teachings/writings of Aquinas have any sway over not only myself but the Church? I know that he's been venerated by the Church and some protestant branches but what separates his work from anyone else? I have googled him but I'm looking for more of personal answer more than anything else. Thanks in advance.
