Islam as a political force is one thing, and Islam as a belief and a relationship between man and God is another. a political version of Islam has so many versions, it's a social economic and political view that may be derived from Muhammads way of ruling, or any of his chaliphate for hundreds of years. trying to implement such version you find fit on society, as long as it;s through peaceful means is totally okay
